About Tejiri Odjighoro
Tejiri is an activist, speaker, media personality, engineer, and social influencer with a passion for advocacy and a love for people. She obtained her bachelors in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (First Class Honors) from the prestigious Afe Babalola University, and earned a full scholarship to study at Point Park University in the US where she completed her master's degree in Engineering Management.

A woman of many talents, Tejiri gained online notoriety for her performance in the 8th season of the West African Music Competition MTN Project Fame, and has since channeled her online popularity to generating awareness about the importance of mental health, the reality of mental health struggles, the impact of abuse and trauma, and the need for more wide spread acceptance of mental health services like therapy especially in her home country, Nigeria. She has also been featured in several articles and magazines including a "Global Innovator" feature with Medium Magazine, and has attracted a sizable following on her social media accounts due to her educational and inspiring posts on LinkedIn and Instagram.

Tejiri credits her ability to care deeply for others to her intimate relationship with Jesus. She envisions a world free of mental health stigma and one where people have easy, free, and safe access to mental health resources regardless of their religious beliefs, sexual orientation, financial status, or societal standing. She believes that every human-being deserves to exist freely, safely, and authentically and hopes to inspire this belief in others through her activism, platform, and life.
